Susan Scott
I am a Nebraska Cornhusker by birth, enlisted in the NE Army National Guard in 1975 in a Infantry Battalion as a Finance Specialist. Took 12 weeks of Basic Training at Ft Jackson, SC followed by AIT at Ft Ben Harrison. Females were still considered WACs until June of that year then we became part of the total Army. I worked full time with NEARNG under the Federal Civil Service later taking NAt’l Guard Bureau Active Duty tours at Ft Knox, KY, Ft Dix, NJ Ft Belvoir, VA & Ft Benning, GA & Korea in personnel related positions, retiring with 24 years of service as Sergeant First Class (E-7).
I look forward to seeing our Club growing stronger and having more get together's/rallies in more centered locations. People who have served our country are unique citizens! Sharing that pride and our stories keeps our heritage strong!
BJ Scott
Joined the Army National Guard (ARNG) in Dec 70 and went full time Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Mar 74 and retired Dec 94 as a CW3 in the National Guard Bureau. I was Chief of the automated center for the Recruiting System (REQUEST) that oversaw the match of open Hometown positions, qualifications and training times to validate an enlistment. Took a 6 month tour to DC area that turned out to be 20 years.
My goal as Vice President is to help the President (My Wife) in consultation in any of her needs.
Dale Detzel
I was born 16 April 1956 and grew up in Avon Lake Ohio.
I joined USMC in 1974 and went to boot camp 31 Oct at Parris Island, SC. My primary MOS was 6591 Aviation Ordnance Chief. Over the next 25 years I served in numerous locations, fought in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, retired in September 1998 and opened up my own roofing repair company. Met my wife LaDonna and 2 lovely daughters, Brittany and Katrina, in 2004. And am now a very proud Grandpa to 3 lovely children, 1 boy and 2 girls. Then in 2018 we found our 2018 Winnebago Grand Tour 45 DL and sold our house and went full time in 2019. Since 2020, our home base is at Cypress Trails RV Resort in Fort Myers, Florida. I look forward to serving as your Secretary/Treasurer.
